Achievement Centers' Programs & Services for Children with Disabilities
Our commitment to reaching a child with special needs as early as possible in their development has earned us wide recognition as early intervention experts. In addition, we believe that focusing on the entire family, not just the child with a disability, is critical to that child's achievement.
We have a special niche in our community for serving children from birth through age 5. Our programs and services are designed to fill the specific needs of children with a wide range of disabilities including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, and developmental delays to name a few.
Achievement Centers' staff are experts in child development, children with disabilities, early intervention strategies and parenting/family issues specific to children with disabilities. Staff members include Master's level educators, administrators, therapists and social workers - several with over 20 years of experience in the field. Many Achievement Centers' professionals serve in community leadership positions for child advocacy groups and service providers.
Recognizing that raising a child with a disability can create financial burdens for families, we work with each family to determine affordable, sliding-scale fees in many of our programs and identify community benefits that may offset all or part of the cost of services whenever possible.
