On November 12, 2011, the Achievement Centers for Children will honor Christopher M. Connor, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Sherwin-Williams Company, for his generous and significant support of the Achievement Centers for Children's Intensive Therapy Clinic, and for his meaningful involvement in and dedication to Northeast Ohio's non-profit community.

Our annual black tie gala, Sparkle, Shimmer & Shine, has become one of Cleveland's most respected and enjoyable charity events.  The evening will include a cocktail reception, elegant seated dinner, a silent and live auction and a fabulous raffle. Held at Cleveland's InterContinental Hotel & Conference Center, it will be attended by more than 400 business, community and civic leaders from Greater Cleveland.

While a festive evening for the attendees, Sparkle, Shimmer & Shine generates significant revenue for the Achievement Centers for Children, with proceeds representing 32% of our annual donated budget. Over 81% of the event’s proceeds go directly to the programs and services of the Achievement Centers, an excellent return of philanthropic investment for sponsors and patrons.
