Therapy Services
The Achievement Centers for Children’s Physical, Occupational and Speech/Language staff hold advanced degrees. Our therapists specialize in:

Continuing education is critical to our ability to deliver the highest quality therapies. In addition to the required clinical education hours to meet annual standards, we regularly conduct peer reviews and in-services as well as provide frequent mentoring opportunities.
Recreation/Camp
The Achievement Centers for Children’s recreational programs, including Camp Cheerful and Champ Camp, boast a diverse professional staff led by a Director of Camp Services who has a MBA and many years of experience supervising recreational programs for children with special needs.
Camp Cheerful is one of the only camps in Ohio with a master’s level Licensed Independent Social Worker who also has 10 years experience working in a camp setting.
Camp Cheerful’s equine programs are supervised by a North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) certified instructor. All of our riding instructors are also NARHA certified.
Technical Assistance Program/Day Care Assistance
Our Technical Assistance Program (TAP) Coordinator and Resource Teachers bring many years of experience as early childhood educators and child care center directors to their work at the Achievement Centers for Children.Our administrative support staff thoroughly understands the daily operations of TAP and helps it run smoothly.
Families often comment that the TAP program made it possible for their child with special needs to happily and successfully integrate into a child care setting. Child care providers know that the TAP Resource Teachers will provide the on-site consultation and support needed to embrace children with special needs into their classrooms.
Administrative/Support Staff
Our outstanding billing, accounting administrative staff and maintenance professionals are dedicated to providing the best service internally to fellow staff members and externally to clients. Fund development and marketing team members have many years of experience in the non-profit sector and are successful in raising program, operating and capital funds to support the Achievement Centers for Children’s mission.
Child Development Center
The Child Development Center’s staff brings years of educational background, early childhood education and special needs experience to our full day programs for children, 3 through 5 years of age. This program has developed a reputation for excellence within the community.
The Program Coordinator has a Master's degree in Education and brings over six years of administrative experience in directing child care programs. The Achievement Centers' lead teachers have bachelor's degrees in early childhood education. Assistant teachers have obtained or are pursuing their two-year degrees in early education. Educational aides are working toward or have completed their Child Development Associate Degree. Our staff continually strives to provide excellent care and education for young children and partners with parents to achieve a "community of learners".
